Pre-Service Check List for your Pool Heat Pump Print E-mail
We don't want to charge you for unnecessary call outs  so if your heat pump is not working then please take time to go through the following simple checks before you call for service.
  • Check that there is power to the Heat Pump. Most units will light up to indicate this.
If there is no power:
  • Check the fuse to the heat pump and the main fuse to the property.
  • Check that there is water flow to the unit. Most units will have a light indicator with 'flow' or 'flow error'.
If there is no flow then check the following:
  • Check that the pool pump is running
  • Check that the pool pump filter is clean
  • Check that the sand filter has been cleaned
  • Check that the valves to the heat pump are open.
  • Check that bypass valves (if fitted) are correctly set.
If all of the points above are checked and the Heat Pump is still not working, then call for service on +34 902 444 147
PLEASE NOTE: The heat pumps are fitted with a safety time delay and you will have to wait 5 minutes before the heat pump starts up.
If your heat pump has a narrow digital control panel then please check that the 'sun' symbol is illuminated. If the panel is set to the frost sign, the machine will be cooling your pool!
When calling for a technician, our service department will need the following information from the Heat Pump:
  • Its Make and Model.
  • The Serial Number.
  • Approximate Date of Installation.

Please contact us for more information on our products and services.
