Pool Safety is a very important topic. A major part of enjoying your pool is knowing that your family, pets and friends are safe. It is a subject that we at Pure Pool Heating take very seriously indeed.
|
We must take every precaution to avoid accidents in our home, as hundreds of children drown each year in Spain alone.
There are 3 major ways to protect your pool.
- A Safety Cover will cover the water surface.
- Pool Fencing will stop anyone from reaching the pool
- A Pool Alarm will alert you to anyone near the waters edge

Here are some useful Pool Safety Tips for you to follow:-
- Never leave small children unsupervised - even for a few seconds.
- Keep children away from the pool sump or suction points as they may be prevented from surfacing.
- Be sure that all pool users learn to swim as quickly as possible and learners should always be accompanied by a good swimmer.

- Keep CD players, radios and other electrical devices away from pools or near to wet surfaces.
- Don't allow any person who has been drinking alcohol to enter the pool.

- Don't swim if you are tired or have just finished eating.

It is worth noting : a large percentage of drownings happen with children between 1 and 3 years old and also in the family home.
