Bubble covers are the cheapest way to insulate your pool. A Polyethelene sheet filled with air pockets is placed onto the water surface, it is cut to the shape of the swimming pool and moved on and off the water surface using a manual roller.
Despite containing high UV inhibitors, these covers have a limited life span as the chemicals in the water, coupled with the sunlight will eventually corrode the plastic.
The excellent thermal quality of bubble covers will add a few degrees to your water temperature either side of the summer months and will therefore extend the swimming season, especially if they are left on the pool in the sunlight.
Bubble covers are very difficult to fit to freeform pools, unless fitted in pieces.
These covers are not safe and extreme caution should be exercised when using them, especially with children and pets around, under no circumstances should anyone stand or attempt to sit on the cover.
As with all thermal covers, you will save over 50% on your heating costs greatly reduce evaporation losses thereby saving on water too.
