A pool cover comes in either automatic or manual versions and is designed to fit either regular or free form shape pools. Some covers are specifically designed as safety features and will convert your pool into a safe and secure environment for all your family,  friends and pets. A number of clients use a cover in order to close down their pools in the winter months, to keep out the dirt and preserve the water quality.

Pool covers are an important product when trying to increase your pool temperature. If used alone, they will extend your swimming season by 6 weeks either side of the summer, and for heated pools they provide excellent insulation, giving significant cost savings on heating bills.

Other options also include HeatSavr, a liquid that effectively reduces heat loss.

Water is a precious comodity and a pool cover will save water evaporation by acting as a barrier between the water and the surrounding air. This barrier will not only save on heating bills but greatly reduce evaporation losses. The greater the difference between the water and the air temperature, the greater the evaporation rate, humidity and wind velocity are also hugely important factors. Studies carried out by Brighton University in the UK have shown that an astonishing 60,000 litres of water per year can evaporate from an uncovered pool (of 10 X 5 metres).
